What's the matter with the size of these packages?

Exactly the same for me: cannot upgrade hpijs, hplip and hplip-data because of a size mismatch of these packages.
This occurs both with apt-get and Aptitude.

I'm running Gutsy on this machine too.

Could the size difference be affected the way archive size needed and fetched are calculated? The Needed value seems correct using archive sizes listed - (6898+290+334). I also use 7.10.

This bug prevents upgrade from feisty to gutsy. You should fix this bug ASAP. This is a critical issue,
since feisty is no longer supported.

Same here on Gutsy x64. Please to fix? (Not critical in my mind, just annoying to see the update manager always on, what is this, vista?)

This might not be critical if you already have gutsy.
But if you are upgrading from feisty this is very critical, because upgrade fails, and there is no workaround.
I tried to uninstall the packages, but the upgrade manager then tries to reinstall them and fails.
So I hope they fix this soon. It's definitive a show spoiler.

I had the same problem today. Solved in this way:
#apt-get -f install
which did not fix the problem and then via Synaptic I marked all the "upgrade packages" and "apply". Sorry if the solution is not elegant...
