Bug Description
HPLIP installed on Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04. Installation went fine but now there are two almost identical printers listed in the CUPS front-end, system-
One of the printers appears to be using the HPLIP backend (Device URI says hp:/usb/
The other printer listed seems to be autocreating itself using the "regular" (?) USB backend (Device URI says usb://HP/
It's confusing when printing to have two identical printers. Whenever I delete the USB printer, it reappears all by itself after a while. Any workarounds or suggestions appreciated!
Thank you.

hey Till,
Seems like I should know how to do this, but I can't find any instructions on the forums or google. Any ideas?
