Bug Description

My trusted HP LaserJet p2055dn is printing raw postscript when I'm using it as a Postscript printer, but it does so every *other* time.

Turning printer off, then on; or cancelling a print job, will give a regular print for output. But the 2nd one is always garbage, starting with a couple of PJL commands.

Most notable, there are "%%" signs before the PJL ENTER LANGUAGE command. This is from Wireshark/tcpdump:
```
·%-12345X@PJL
@PJL JOB NAME = "Test Page" DISPLAY = "4 valentyn Test Page"
@PJL SET USERNAME = "valentyn"
%%@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE = PostScript
%!PS-Adobe-3.0
%%Invocation: gs -q -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -dNOMEDIAATTRS -sstdout=? -sDEVICE=ps2write -dShowAcroForm -sOUTPUTFILE=? -sProcessColorModel=DeviceGray -sColorConversionStrategy=Gray -dLanguageLevel=2 -r600 -dCompressFonts=false -dNoT3CCITT -dNOINTERPOLATE ?
%%+ ? -f ?
```

This is on Ubuntu 22.04, hplip 3.21.12+dfsg0-1 from Ubuntu. Tried to install 3.23.12 from the site but that fails with errors saying that python3-pyqt5 and python3-dbus cannot be installed (they are installed, but oh well).
