I am using hp-scan to scan documents and photos on Linux.
Compared to Windows, using the proprietary HP Scan software, the quality on Linux correlates to "document" scan on Windows (same dpi etc.). Choosing "photo" scan option on Windows results in a much better quality, especially. This setting is nowhere available on Linux.
For me this makes the device half unusable for me. |
