Cannot configure WiFi over USB

Bug Description

Hi

My printer: HP_Neverstop_Laser_MFP_120x
HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.21.12)
Linux Mint 21.1 Vera

I can print and scan over USB but cannot configure WiFi.
hp-toolbox reports:
An I/O error occurred.
Please check the USB connection to your printer and try again.
(Device I/O error)
