Bug Description
On my clean Manjaro 19.0.2 install the binary plugin- for my HP Color LaserJet MFP m476dw unfortunately won't install.
The attached zip file contains screenshots and logs of the hp-setup script as well as logs of the hp-doctor and hp-check scripts. Furthermore I've also attached a list of installed/missing packages on my system that the hp-check script is complaining about.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Execute the hp-setup script and select network/wireless discovery (step_1.png).
2) Select the discovered printer (step_2.png).
3) Select to download and install the plug-in (step_3.png).
4) Info pop-up that the key for authenticating and validating the plug-in can't be retrieved from the key server (step_4.png).
5) Agree to the terms (step_5.png).
6) Provide the root credentials (step_6.png).
7) Info pop-up that the plug-in was installed successfully (step_7.png).
8) Immediately after that, an error pop-up shows that the binary plug-in needs to be installed via the hp-plugin (step_8.png). However, doing so simply repeats step 3) to step 8), i.e. infinite loop.
9) The wizard basically jumps back to step 2), i.e. again an infinite loop.
