Bug Description
When using hp-plugin, the script completes successfully up to the point where one chooses to download the plugin from HP. When retrieving the keys from pgp.mit.edu an error states that the keys cannot be retrieved. Manual command line use of the gpg command substituting another keyserver runs without errors. I used the autoinstaller in interactive mode on MX Linux 18.3 which wants hp-3.18.
def __init__(self, pgp_site = 'keyserver.
Specifically, 'pgp.mit.edu' was removed and 'keyserver.
I'm sorry about the lack of logs and/or error messages, but I am loathe to try and reproduce them, now that I have this working. I don't know how keyservers work, but this has been going on for a week or so as far as I know. Google search reveals many other users having trouble retrieving the keys at various times in the past. Having multiple keyservers available to the script seems prudent.
I'm sorry I forgot to mention what file LINE 44 is from. It is /usr/share/ hplip/base/ validation. py
