I wanted to know which one you preferred to use.
Ok, you can print now, but "No scanners were identified." is bothersome. What operating system are you using and what does 'cat /etc/sane.

This shows that the SANE backend, hpaio, is on the system. That means you should be able to scan. But you cannot. I wonder where the problem is?
Execute the command
avahi-browse -art > log
and post log here.

Is that the output you get with both network and USB connections separately?

Ah! Now we are getting somewhere. Thanks. Let's see how we go on with this:
Open /usr/share/
[hp_colorlaserj
Change it to
[colorlaserjet_
and try scanning and report back here.
Sergio - I have asked for the log file from avahi-browse three times. Please post it.

I made a mistake. The line is
[hp_colorlaserj
Remove "hp_" and save the file.
Post what you get with the command
dpkg -l printer-
if you still cannot find the line.

It is unfortunate but I think you may have hit another bug. This time it is in Ubuntu.
Go to
https:/
and read message #18. Then download the printer-
sudo dpkg -i printer-

Will be it corrected for the next version of hplip?
Thanks!

I am a little surprised that having
[hp_colorlase
instead of
[colorlaserje
works.
Please do
avahi-browse -rt _uscan._tcp > log
and post log.
> Will be it corrected for the next version of hplip?
Maybe. The version of hplip rou are using is 3.17.10. The Laserjet PRO MFP M280nw isn't supported on it. It needs 3.18.5 or greater. That was basically your problem.

My problem is that i can't install last version hplip on my system because this have problem with dependencies. My system is KDE Neon 18.04 but in Ubuntu 18.04 neither.

That addition you made to models is the way to go. There is nothing wrong with it for getting scanning going. (But do you really have it beginning with "[hp_colorlaser
I'm glad you are now scanning. Thank you for both the logs you sent.

Thanks.

Which type of connection do you want? USB or network? Post the outputs of 'lpinfo -v' and 'scanimage -L'.
Do
avahi-browse -art > log
and post log as an attachment.
