Bug Description

Hi!

We analyzed hplip-3.18.4 with coverity scan in Fedora and found several possible defects, which are applicable to current version. I have results of important defects here https://zdohnal.fedorapeople.org/.hplip/hplip-scan-results-imp.err with commentary how I fixed some of these.

Would you mind adding it into the project?

I rewrote the patch a little, because previous fix caused new covscan issues.
