hplip install won't accept password in konsole

Bug Description

Running Kde Neon on 18.04 LTS and trying to install latest hplip 3.18.7 but the install doesn't accept my root password.

You are on Ubuntu. Use the sudo password?

Thanks Brian,I did that just after I posted and edited the post but obviously the edit didn't happen.The password issue is resolved but having other dependency issues which is another topic.Marking this topic as solved for me.
