hplip-3.18.7 error

After I installed “hplip-3.18.7” I started getting the following error message every time the computer boots into UBUNTU 18.04. “No system tray detected on this system. Unable to start, exiting.” I have no idea what this means or if it will impact printing?

I ran the script "hp-doctor" in a terminal. It gave the following summary:

error: This distro (i.e ubuntu 18.04) is either deprecated or not yet supported.
The diagnosis is limited on unsupported platforms. Do you want to continue?(y=yes*, n=no):

warning: Fail to read ppd=/etc/cups/ppd/HP_Officejet_Pro_8610.ppd file
warning: Insufficient permission to access file /etc/cups/ppd/HP_Officejet_Pro_8610.ppd
warning: Could not complete Queue(s) configuration check

Checking for HP Properitery Plugin's....
No plug-in printers are configured.

Diagnose completed...

I reinstalled and the script appeared to run as it always has. I used the following in terminal:

cd /tmp && wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/hplip/hplip-3.18.7.run

sh hplip-3.18.7.run

When I got to the end the script reported:

Gtk-Message: 13:26:08.041: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
No systemtrayicon available

And then a little while later the following poped up in terminal:
error: No system tray detected on this system. Unable to start, exiting.

Hope there are no functionality issues and you are able to do print and scan properly.
We will check with the team and try to fix the "canberra-gtk-module" and "No system tray" issues as part of our future releases.

I solved the "canberra-gtk-module" error with

$ sudo apt install libcanberra-gtk-module

, but I had no luck with "No systemtrayicon available," which is an old issue.
