OS: Ubuntu Mate 16, kernel 4.4.38-v7+
Device: LaserJet Pro MFP M132a

I have the same problem with the RP3 and the LaserJet Pro MFP m127fn using stretch. I've seen similar reports for LaserJet Pro MFP m1XXXX models with no solution. Honestly, I think it's just a bad driver which HP hasn't fixed. I've heard rumors that HPLIP-3.15.9 works. But I couldn't get it working on the latest distro (Stretch). If you can try it with wheezy or jesse, it might work; but the installer kept terminating at Error Code 2 when running the Make function.
