Incorrect scan area when scanning using ADF

Bug Description

With hplip-2.7.10

I tried with both sane (xsane, scanadf, scanimage) and hp-scan.

I want to scan several documents using ADF but I'm only interested by a small area on each page but whatever area settings I'm using the scanned area is always wrong. More precisely driver seems to not taken into account horizontal offset ( although it seems to respect width height and vertical offset: the image I got is horizontally centered.

I also tried with ADF disabled and scan area is perfect

We can reproduce this, and we'll be looking at this in the future. It does appear more than likely to be something with how the printer scans with the adf and probably not something in our code. The scan path for the adf and the flatbed are the same so it should be the same either way.

Thanks for the report!
