Page Order Wrong on OJ Pro 8630 Single Side Printing

Bug Description

I am using hplip and have attached output from hp-check.

When I print a pdf single-sided, the pages come out first page first, but it is oriented face up, so the stack is in reverse order.

When I print the same under windows, it prints the last page first, face-up, so the stack is in the correct order.

When I print duplex, the order is correct because the first page is placed face down by the duplexing unit.

Thus, print order appears to be wrong for single-sided output. I know I can set the reverse-order checkbox in the print dialog or in the printer settings, but that makes duplex printing wrong unless I remember to uncheck it for duplex and check it for simplex.

By the way, I also have the HP OJ Pro X576 (awesome printer!) and it does the right thing in all these situations.

Regards,

Forgot to mention, printing to this printer from Windows does not exhibit this problem.
