LJ 1150 does not print using HPLIP

Hello,

The printer works perfectly on Windows XP (has tested on the same computer meanwhile), but I use only Linux. So it would be great if this finally would work out!

In the beginning I was not sure this to be a bug so I posted it as a question in the first place (https://answers.launchpad.net/hplip/+question/261521)
But as I am quite sure it to be a bug and there hasn't been an answer for more than 2 months I will post it here again and make reference to it.

Using Ubuntu 14.10 (updated from former versions) and HPLIP-3.14.10 (manually downloaded)
The printer is connected and found on USB. In the latest HPLIP version I get loads of PPDs at /usr/share/ppd/HP but cannot find a suiting PPD for LJ1150. So I accept the suggested drv:///hp/hpcups.drv/hp-laserjet_1150.ppd. After adding this printer and trying to print a test page, I get a problem symbol at the job queue.
