Bug Description

HP Descjet 1050 print only images and lines, symbols missing. I try print pdf, web, text files and result i same - not print symbols , only images nad lines.

Hi Ivan,

By symbols what does it mean exactly. If you can provide us a copy of original document and the scanned copy of the printed document we can analyze the issue and try reproduce the same here. It will be of much help to resolve this issue.

Hello Ivan,

I am not able to reproduce this issue here. Can you try below steps.

1) Follow the steps from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems -> "Capturing print job data" section and send me the appout file.

2) Run "hp-logcapture" command in the terminal and send me the generated log.

"There should be exactly one file beginning with a "d". Copy this file to your home directory:" but i haves many files beginning with d. I send to you whole CUPS folder in zip archive

I try load kubuntu live from usb without install. Add printer and problem is same. But this is not problem with printer on windows laptop all works.
