Extreme temperature rise and high system load at very end of "Diagnose HPLIP driver" phase

i am using a laptop and when the diagnosis operation is done i am told to manually close those terminal window.
but whilst reading the information on the page i spotted a totally high CPU load and a noticeable growth in CPU core temperatures.

probably someone coded the batch file behind that console in a "while(1) - do nothing" fashion. but it should better be coded in a "while (1) - sleep (1)" or similar fashion.
