Bug Description

Plugged scanner in and scanned a document. Switched off scanner. I'm now left with hp-setup consuming a core.

Is your scanner the HP Officejet 6300? Or did you connect another scanner? If you connected another scanner, which one?

Can someone of the HPLIP developers at HP have a look into this? Thanks.
