Bug Description
Hi,first of all sorry for my language, I'm from Chile so My english is loussy,
Thanks
I use Ubuntu 13.04 64bts., and i bought a Hp OfficeJet Pro 8600, and the wireless installs properly...but when I try to print, it says "Filter Failure", and when I open the HpManager, says "Device Communication error (code 5012)"
*The HP by itself works fine. It also say and print the test page from wireless configuration...
I'd ran hp-doctor, and it didn't works...keeps saying that the print is OFF or FAILED TO COMMUNICATE.
I'd ran hp-check, and this is:

1. Compile-time check mode (-c or --compile): Use this mode before compiling the
HPLIP supplied tarball (.tar.gz or .run) to determine if the proper dependencies
are installed to successfully compile HPLIP.
2. Run-time check mode (-r or --run): Use this mode to determine if a distro
supplied package (.deb, .rpm, etc) or an already built HPLIP supplied tarball
has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode
will check both of the above cases (both compile- and run-time dependencies).
Check types:
a. EXTERNALDEP - External Dependencies
b. GENERALDEP - General Dependencies (required both at compile and run time)
c. COMPILEDEP - Compile time Dependencies

Hello Daniela,
From the logs I see that both print and Fax queues are created for USB connection (hp:/usb/ Officejet_ Pro_8600? serial= CN31TBWJ1P05KC) . Are you trying to print to the device using wifi??
For printing over Wifi you need to create a new print queue. You can setup that using following command.
$hp-setup (then select correct connection type)
Hope this helps.
