Bug Description
Description of problem:
For HP OfficeJet Pro k5400 hplip-gui in "Actions" menu offers:
- Align Cartridges (Print Heads)
- Clean Cartridges
- Color Calibration
- Line Feed Calibration
- Print Diagnostic Page
- ... some other items
When I choose "Color Calibration", then printer print page (cca first 1/3 A4) and at screen appears window "HP Device Manager - Printer Color Calibration"
where are three paragraphs of text (guideline), "Gray Plot" and "Color plot" images and buttons for selecting right squares A-N/1-13 (see attachment). But printed page is some totaly different - there is "hp color inkjet printer" black heading, then line with black letters A-Z with decrescent sizes, then four black lines with ASCII characters, and finaly 2 row x 12 columns color rectangles (6 different colors).
This is evidently bug.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
hplip-3.12.11
How reproducible:
At this printer always (i have no different yet)
Additional info:
Maybe "Align Cartridges (Print Heads)" action is nonfunctional too - all what it does is that it print half of A4 page with some graphical object, with black, yelow and magenta color (cyan is missing), at printed objects are evident some defects. And isn't expected feedback from human.
