hp-plugin cannot detect the network in the chrooted environment

Bug Description
Both /proc and /sys are mounted. I can download files with wget and access web pages with
'links'. But hp-plugin fails:

Please install latest version of HPLIP-3.12.10a from @http:// hplipopensource .com/hplip- web/install. html
