Steps to reproduce:
1. Disable volume type encryption on cinder_policy.json as the following
"volume_extension:volume_type_encryption": "!",
"volume_extension:volume_encryption_metadata": "!",
2. Go to admin -> volumes panel
3. Click on Volume Types tab
4. Verify the volume type encryption is disabled by check the "Create Encryption" action is not available for the volume type.
5. Note that there's an error showing unable to receive volume type encryption information.
The volume types table has an encryption column and it assumes the encryption is always supported which is not the case. |
