openstack.common needs to be synced

It has been awhile sync last sync, time to update to get the latest bug fix

While I agree in having outdated code, I'd argue here: we shouldn't copy that code here at all, since most of it is not used in horizon.

If we agree in using it, we should have a dependency on openstack.common and use that dep rather than having (probably) outdated code copied.

We've been copying the code ever since, didn't thought of why not just improve this process. Thanks for the feedback.

I'll repurpose the ticket into using the dependency model rather than copying the code into horizon. Other projects have already been doing it, should be doable for horizon too.

on second thought, this actually might be better fit as blueprint since the scope is bigger. I'll close the ticket and open a BP instead.
