missing choice 'volume type' when creating a new volume during instance creation

Bug Description

There should be a choice for the volume type when choosing 'boot from image (create a new volume)' or 'boot from snapshot (creates a new volume)' as instance boot source in the launch instance dialog in the instances panel.

I would like to reopen this issue.
I need to have a choice of volume type when creating new volume-based instances.

Could you update the bug description accordingly if we move this bug forward?
We first would like to known 'storage type' is 'volume type'.
We haven't got an answer from the bug reporter.
