Bug Description

Using master branch as built into the Grizzly Trunk Testing PPA.

Dashboard looks just fine when using chromium/chrome. In firefox not working so well:

1) drop downs don't function at all

2) instance launch, network creation dialogs don't popup and darken the background as in chrome.

Hi James,

Which dropdowns?
Firefox version?
Any errors from the OpenStack services?

I notice the Horizon package has no minimum versions in debian/control. Is this intentional? Not that familiar with packaging policy in Ubuntu.

The only obvious thing I see is django_openstack_auth 1.0.1. There's a known incompatibility between django_openstack_auth < 1.0.6 and new keystoneclient versions (>= 2.0) that breaks the project switch dropdown.

Spinning up a VM to try myself.

Firefox: 19.0.2

I've attached some screen shots; for example the launch instance dialog is a dialog in chromium with working tabs; but in firefox all the tabs are displayed on the same page, not in a dialog.

For drop downs - the "More" drop down for a volume does nothing in firefox, but displays "Create Snapshot" and "Delete Volume" in chromium.

I did not the following errors in the JS console:

[09:00:38.413] SyntaxError: invalid increment operand @ http://localhost:8080/static/dashboard/js/522d24c8213c.js:99
[09:00:38.414] ReferenceError: $ is not defined @ http://localhost:8080/horizon/project/instances/launch:692
[09:00:38.659] TypeError: horizon.Quota is undefined @ http://localhost:8080/horizon/project/instances/launch:355

Just for clarify - the dashboard is completely functional in chromium so I don't think we have a packaging problem.

This looks like a duplicate of bug 1130610. What's the version of python-django-compressor?

Yeah - probably is - raring/grizzly CA is using 1.1.2 - I'll look to update in distro.
