Bug Description

Using the 'trendtime report' to check the ammount of money that's left by the end of each month, it would be nice if homebank could eventually calculate an average value for the selected period of time.

Example:

January 2012: +1000,00€
February 2012: -500,00€
March 2012: -500,00€
April 2012: +2000,00€
May 2012: +500,00€

The average ammount of money per month: (1000-500-500+2000+500) [€] / 5 [number of months] = 500€

I really love the simplicity of homebank hence I'm using the tool for more than four years now.
Keep up the great work!

Hi, I can't find this function in the current version of HomeBank. But it is a very important function when you start budgetting. It is the only thing I really miss after switching from a cloud-based programm to HomeBank. Please add it to the reporting options.

So, just display above the listing, and left the date range detail, will suit ?

Average: 500 € - from xx/xx/xxxx to xx/xx/xxxx

January 2012: +1000,00€
February 2012: -500,00€
March 2012: -500,00€
April 2012: +2000,00€
May 2012: +500,00€

Changed in homebank:
milestone: none → 5.0

I think trendtime report would be the best place. Also it would be really good if you can use both time settings (to calculate for instance the mean amount for groceries per week during last year).
When I look at the layout I think the best spot is above the listing and to the left of the date range, just as you suggested Maxime!

Thanx for looking into it!
