iOS version not the same as linux or windows

I tried opening the same file in linux and windows: worked fine.
Once I tried in mac i noticed two things:
First the UI was very different (felt old) then the version number was very different but the updater detects that it is at the latest version.

My assessment: there is either a problem with the version numbering, the build pipeline for mac causes issues or it has stop being developped. Could be something else ofc.

To reproduce:
- Download homebank for win, linux and mac: compare the version, try and open the same file across all versions. (I stared to work on windows but wanted to migrate to mac).

I think maybe homebrew does not find your patches?

I think that you mis-understood Maximes's response, the link says:

 "The release for Mac OS is not provided by me, it is the work of 3rd party people.
  I do not provide any support for third party packages.
  For any trouble encountered during the install of these package, please contact the people
  in charge of the port, or try to get some help on a dedicated forum."
