there is ?? in most useful lines:

when you type gdb homebank, does it print 'Reading symbols from homebank...' ?

Do you reproduce the crash with the example file ?

I suggest you anonymize your file and send to my email, see homebank website (not here).

How do you get and use a sample file? I can't figure out how to anonymize
the file. Sorry not too bright when it comes to this.

then save to another filename than yours
or duplicate the file before open it.

It doesn't crash using the example file so it must be something to do with my file. It's really not that big of a deal if it only does it to me. It doesn't really matter to me if I break that line down into other categories. I was only testing it out and found that issue and thought it might affect the operation or your program
I anonymized the file like you said and I clicked on the link that says email to you but it doesn't come up with an email address. I have a lot of info in this file that I don't really want to get out, especially if I send it to the wrong address.

I don't get what happened but I just went to my file again and the problem has fixed itself. It no longer crashes when I do a detailed view in the unbugeted items. You can close this bug report.

no problem with that.
I will make further test, as it seems this occurs with a split txn, test I did not make.
