Bug Description
I'm new to Homebank, but not to account verification and categorization. I used YNAB before their subscription model (...flashback to 2005...), and I actually switch from a Excel sheet with "Manuel assignation" to Homebank in order to automate those assignments. I don't want to create a load of conditional rules neither a VB script.
I want to automatically categorize my OFX not as much as possible, to manage only the few unusual transactions (...maybe 90% of my OFX shall be automatically categorized...)
I'm a power user (at least I believe I am) and I am using regex (regular expression) to auto categorize, auto assign paiement method.
Thus, I barely started, but have already a bunch of rules.
I agree that the UI must be (and stay) clean, but as a power user I am and frustrated to have to open each and every rule to check to regex and/or if the category modifier radio button is on "replace" of "if empty".
MY WISH :
To be able to activate a "power user view" with the same tables (rule name, rule note, etc), but in addition, many columns, showing nothing fancy but the information shown in the "rule modification" window:
- filter/rule applied (the rule's string)
- case sensitive (Y/N)
- regex (Y/N)
- category behavior (disabled/if empty/replace)
- category name (the category name)
- paiement behavior (disabled/if empty/replace)
- etc
- etc
You get the point.
THUS, even if MODIFICATION shall not be accepted in the table, it would be *much* easier for review, control and QA of what I did.
I don't think it's a big thing, even if it could overflow newcomers with big tables.
If it's to complicated, at least being able to EXPORT this complete list in a click of a magical "export détaillée list of rules and parameters" button could be enough to ease the job without exploding the UI/UX
Running on windows, HomeBank-
Thanks in advance

A big thanks for the assignment window update. muuuuuuch bigger (...too big, may be, now ?! See attachement... Anyway, better too much than not enough)
Thus, I still believe that we have muuuuuch space to add proposed columns with empty cell, or checkbox'd cells ✔️, to fastly check if regex in active, and so one.
Anyway, you rule, you're the boss, and you have no mpore than 2 arms (I hope), so consider it as a humble proposition, not a royal degree request.
Thanks for your hardwork :)
