Bonjour,

Je clôture mes compte à chaque fin d'année. Et je crée un nouveau fichier pour l'année suivante.
J'importe donc les catégories, mais je ne peux pas avec les filtres.
Le moyen pour contourner ce problème est de faire une copie de l'année précédente et de nettoyer les transactions.

what was asked into #1657690 was to archive everything from an existing file, which was complex

what may be possible (and simpler) is:
- find an appropriate *short* name for this function/menu entry: if you have suggestion
- a dialog open with a small explanation and some checkbox to select what to keep
  - except txn, what need to be purged according to you ?
- input a stop date prefilled with end of current financial year
- transaction are purged and account initial balance set at that date
- the name is invalidated, so that you will need (the save dialog will pop) to change it for the new save/save as

#1657690 is rather using Homebank in an uniq file managing all the years. This is something that I don't trust for security. If for some reason, the database file woulld be corrupted, that would be a mess. I prefer to manage a financial year in a database file xhb, starting from first of january to the 31 dec, and reporting balance from last year.
This is easiest way I believe.

Exporting settings in a single zip file would be a good idea, like many other softwares.
Add check boxes to select what you want to import/export from menu Tools->Options
