Bug Description
Now all services (like internet bill, electricity bill, taxes etc) handles customer like an account. They add bills to the account, and we make payments that goes into the account, and they give us the account balance.
Maybe I am not understanding how Homebank handles this, or this is missing.
It would be, IMHO, useful to have payees handled like accounts. This means we would be able to have the current and coming balance for any payee. Indeed, a payee is not simply an source of income or cost, they are usually both (they bill things, sometimes they reimburse things etc.).
In my case, handling the renting of my apartment, I bill things to the roomates, and they pay me, and I would really like to keep tracks of when I bill them things vs when they pay me. In Homebank right now, I can (as far as I know) only track the time when they pay me without bill them things and see their current balance towards me.
I hope this is not too confusing.
Bonne journee,
Bastien
most payee are not income/expense
if you want to keep track of your rental with account feature, just create an account for this usage, which by the way is quite specific
