wish: calculate "Remind" transactions into balance (as configuration option?)

As of Homebank 5.2.2, "Remind" transactions are flagged with an icon, but do not affect the running balance of the account.

I understand the intent is that "Remind" transactions can follow owing amounts you haven't actually received yet, which is why they aren't calculated. I'd like to use "Remind" transactions a little differently however, so that I can effect of the owing amounts on my cash flow without losing track of them

So I would like to have "Remind" transactions calculated into the running balance. I'm not looking to change the default behaviour though; this can be a configurable option.

Alternatively, I'd be really happy if "Remind" stays as is, and there is another type of flagged state that does get calculated and can be filtered on and whatnot.

It's not the same thing as flags. Flags are supposed to be visual reminders, but more detailed. In the end, flags could be replaced by another text box for explaining what to do, and a visual reminder, as we have now. But I agree the amount of the transaction set to "remind" should be calculated in the Total if it has a past date, and not calculated if the date is in the future. You could also add another status, "Void", to mark a transaction and not display its amount in the balance, this could be useful in case of non-cashed checks and all the other cases where it's important to register a void transaction.

Thanks kjdfofghdfrke; you've described a good picture of the complete/desired functionality, which I think agree with. So there's a few tickets

1) Add a transaction "void" status, which is not calculated into the running balance (as per #1818320).

2) Calculate "remind" status transactions into the running balance by default to track outstanding debts (as per this ticket). With the "void" status in place, whether to calculate the "remind" into the balance doesn't even have to be configurable any more... I'll leave that up to you Maxime.

3) Since "void" and "remind" are known and well defined concepts, flags can then round out any other tracking the user may want for themselves (as per #1600356)

Since bug #1818320 is included in the 5.3 release, can we please also get this included in 5.3 since they complement each other? :D
