WISH: A small confirmation dialogue when a transaction gets entered

When I enter a lot of transactions, I often click the ADD button and have no confirmation that the transaction went in. I just have to trust that it did.

I use other packages that pop up (usually fade in/out) a small "Entered" button, as a confirmation. It is very reassuring. Without that, I have often thought "Did I hit enter or not, can't remember, I'll hit it again" which leads to duplicate transactions.

As there is no duplicate checking at the moment, a small pop-up that clears itself after, say, 1 second (ideally customisable in preferences) would be fantastic.

PS. If you wish, I can screen record my other package or do a shared-screen with you to show you what I mean, if it is not clear. Thanks.

- You can always control that you have entered a txn, there is a new icon to indicate that.
- v5.2 will introduce a duplicate finder

so to me there is no really need to do this, until it is easy and fast to do.

just indicate the software that shows this or provide a small record if you want.

If you tell me how to upload it here (or transfer a screen recording to you directly) then I will happily share it. Or you could create an easy login with Smart Property Manager and enter a transaction, send an email, whatever - and watch how it pops up an "Entered" or "done" flag (there is probably a proper name for such things - sorry I don't know it).

OK, that is your call I guess. It's a pity, since I never know that a transaction actually got entered.

One other option could be just a sound/beep to get played. Think how reassuring it is when you hear the 'whoosh' sound that an email or SMS has actually left your device.
