Bug Description

Hello,

Since yesterdays version 5.1.6 and the previous version 5.1.5 the menu bars don't open the actual menu. I already switched back to version 5.1.4 where it is still working. The operating system is Windows 10 Education 64bit, with german language.

When I click a menu button, the menu entry is highlighted as if an active menu would be rendered beneath (blue underlining, blue label), but that's all, see screenshot.

What else is there to test, or what could be useful to help me find the problem? I don't know much about GTK.

Greetings,
Tim

Hi,

First try the gtk3-widget-factory.exe into C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeBank
you have a menu on page 2
if you have the same problem it is well related to GTK+.

you can try launch HB into a console to see if any GTK+ message
you can also try to change the theme, for that edit C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeBank\etc\gtk-3.0\settings.ini
and uncomment #Windows 10

Thanks for the hints. In fact, the menus don't work in the GTK-Demo either. So this seems like a GTK bug. I will file a bug there. This may be closed.

FYI: Since trying this out on a weekend, I actually found the problematic circumstances about this bug. It only appears when logged in via Windows Remote Desktop. Today I tried it with the native desktop and everything works fine in HomeBank and in GTK-Demo.

This appears to be a known bug at GTK, I attached my case: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=780101
