Bug Description
When I used GnuCash, it was helpful to know when the last time a certain account was reconciled.
In GnuCash, reconciliation is a separate process, rather than just toggling a transaction as reconciled, you have to match account balances - this is more complex, so I'm assuming that recording the date for each account every time one of its transactions was marked as 'Reconciled' is a fairly easy hack. :)
For instance, if my credit card closes on the 12th of each month, and today is the 14th, I should be able to see at a glance that the prior reconciliation date is in the past. I know that it has closed and I need to add my interest charge transaction and reconcile the previous month's transactions.
Also, it wouldn't be necessary for the scope of this feature request that HomeBank knows when the card close date is, but that would be very nice, too. A little icon in the left column to alert the user that for credit accounts that revolve in this way (ie not checking accounts) have entered a new statement period.

2 questions:
A) as now we have 3 status: none, cleared, reconciled, do you consider to only track date when a txn goes from none/cleared => reconciled ?
I mean If you change a txn from reconciled => cleared or none, the date changes as well ?
B) let's say the debit date of your CC account in on 12th, what is the trigger to display or not display the icon, (because between 2 consecutive month you are between 2 statement, I mean on 11th as well) ?
for example it might be that the date is 13th and you already have unreconciled txn on the CC card on 13 th
