auto assignment dialog not active when no category defined

I have to define some category in HomeBank 5.0.5 to access assignment dialog, even when I want to assign payee only and not use categories at all. Even worse - there is no way to display and manage assignments previously defined and working (!) after removing all defined categories. I've to add a category to unblock assignment dialog.

Assignment management dialog should be active regardless categories are defined or not.

assignment should to be available when there is 1 payee or 1 category

Your assumption is incorrect. There is no need to add such restriction (1 payee or 1 category).

You can define assignment without creating p/c earlier. So adding new assignment rule as first operation in new file should be possible.

How to reproduce:
1. Create new file
2. Add category A
3. Add assignment rule with payee B and category C
4. New category and payee are created on the fly - no need to create A or even B and C earlier

And there is problem with no access to already defined assignment rules still. There is now way to list/delete assignments after removing all payees and ctegories.

How to reproduce:
5. Delete payee B and categories A and C from manage payee/categories dialog
6. Opening assignment windows isn't possible even assignment from step 3 is still defined
7. Add new payee D - not related to existing assignemnt
8. Now you can open assignment window and change, delete etc.

So assignment management dialog should be active regardless categories/payees are defined or not.

You're right, I forgot I added the possibility to create P & C from the assignment dialog >:D
