wish: keyboard shortcut to transaction none status

While reconciling, I may occasionally hit the 'R' key on the wrong entry (using version 5.0 RC). To undo this, I try to hit the same key, but this sets the transaction to clear instead of unreconciled. The only way to unreconcile the transaction is to click on "Edit" and manually change from Reconciled to None. I can find no keyboard shortcut. A shortcut would help when reconciling accounts.

No you can hit the c key to toggle the clear status.
As a typical schema is that a transaction is unclear, then cleared, then reconciled, you now need to apply the invert to goes from reconciled, to cleared, then unclear.
May I should explain that into the documentation.

This is true, for intended actions. When I hit the 'R' key on a transaction, I would expect it to toggle the transaction to/from Reconciled, which it does. However, it will not retain the previous status. Thus, if I accidentally reconcile a uncleared transaction, the only way to return it's status to unclear is to press two keys ('R', then 'C'), instead of one. Seems the 'R' key should toggle the status back to uncleared, if that's the previous status. As an alternate to prevent state tracking, I would anticipate another key to allow clearing from status to the "None" status ('U' for Unclear/unremind/unreconcile ... or 'N' for None)

here is the behavior and what I added into the documentation:

You can use the keyboard key R and C to quickly change the status of a transaction.
Here's a few tips:
- R key on an unreconciled transaction will Reconcile
- R key on an already reconciled transaction will ask for confirmation and toggle to cleared
- C key has no effect on a Reconciled transaction
- C key on a cleared transaction will unclear it
