license of svg files

Hi,
I'm trying to get homebank uploaded to debian main repositories,
unfortunately the deb package has been rejected for the license of the svg files.

The Creative Common License version 2.0 and 2.5 is not compliant to the Debian Policy,
It is possible to change the license to the more compliant version 3.0?

I have received a mail from my sponsor,
unfortunately relicensing the SVG files under CC version 3 is not enought to have homebank uploaded to debian,

If it's possible the SVG must be relicensed under GPL.

The problem is that most of the icons are dirct icons from tango project, some others have been adapted and and end others are complete creation by myself or contributors.
If I follow the tango rules for icons, I have to put them into CC share a like also, what I have done.
I don't think I can include tango icons into HomeBank tar.gz files with GPL license.
So the only solution would be to create a new complete icons set based on GPL icons (Gnome or kde ?)

I have started a new iconset based on gnome latest 2.18 icons.

GPL icons are quite finished.
I just work a little on the splash also and release the v3.4
This release will includes most of the fix required by mentors to include HomeBank in debian.
If you need a pre-release package to be sure all is ok, then let me know !
