Bug Description

Running "apt-get install hockeypuck" to install from the project-supplied PPA repository results in also installing "mongodb-clients mongodb-server".

Given that this is setup, via documentation, to use PostgreSQL, this seems incongruous.

While `apt-cache showsrc hockeypuck` references "1.0~rc1~bzr257~precise", that's not the version available for precise in the PPA binaries.

# apt-cache policy hockeypuck
hockeypuck:
  Installed: 0.9.0149~precise
  Candidate: 0.9.0149~precise
  Package pin: (not found)
  Version table:
 *** 0.9.0149~precise 200
        500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/hockeypuck/ppa/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I've only checked precise and raring, but it looks as though something hinky is going on with version propagation.

The file "/etc/hockeypuck/hockeypuck.conf" is setting "logfile=/var/log/hockeypuck/hockeypuck-mgo.log" so it looks as though there are a few other discrepancies here.

Should be fixed in the Hockeypuck PPAs now. MongoDB is but a bad memory.

Changed in hockeypuck:
status: New → Invalid
status: Invalid → Fix Committed
milestone: none → 1.0-rc1
assignee: nobody → Casey Marshall (cmars)
importance: Undecided → High
