Bug Description

Add fortify parameter to AM_CFLAGS to catch some trivial errors:

Note, it seems that "-U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1" is needed. =2 could be also used for more checks.

Consider if this should be just part of "make check".
