Bug Description

The pre-commit hooks don't seem to allow @author -tags at the bottom of the copyright declaration.
I couldn't find a part in the project documentation saying anything for or against having them.
This should be decided on and the commit hooks updated accordingly.

We have policy against this, which seems undocumented. I found only a single file where @author tags was used. Instead, I think we should add your current employer to copyright headers. We could add also HIIT for further clarity.

I am not sure if we should add a pseudo name (e.g. HIP for Linux community) to keep the copyright statement short, and then define the pseudo name in the documentation. Any comments?

The pseudo name suggestion works for me.

The issue was not me wanting to add those tags, but how to deal with the one that was already there. The commit hooks didn't like it and would only let me commit my changes if it was removed or if the hooks were disabled. The tag looked a bit lost being the only one but I wasn't sure if it was really appropriate to remove it.
