Bug Description

If hexchat is sized to less than the new internal search box, hexchat resizes to allow for the search box.

Once search box is closed - window is left at the 'new' size.

As I use devilspie to place apps on specific windows with specific geometry, once search box is opened, hexchat is oversized and past the monitor edge.

Screenshots attached showing size change.
