Bug Description
SOHO (LASCO) images are not updated for 2 days. Last images date - 3 may.
Hi,
As with most spacecraft, SOHO occasionally experiences temporary interruptions to normal operations, with the spacecraft going into a "safe mode" that is designed for one thing only: To make sure that the spacecraft is not harmed or lost. That happened to SOHO last Wednesday. SOHO moved into "Emergency Sun Reacquisition" (ESR) mode. LASCO, as well as all other instruments on board the SOHO spacecraft, also had their operations interrupted. You can find out more about SOHO operations and ESRs at
http:// sohowww. nascom. nasa.gov/ soc/esr/
Hope this helps.
It appears to be back in normal operations now, as recent data from LASCO is now available again

Sorry for the interruption. And we are glad that LASCO is back!
