Bug Description

The idea is to have a UI element which makes Ajax calls to the F/E server once every so often, say 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc, to look for newly detected features and events. Newly detected features and events are requested from the server and shown on the "Real Time Event" UI element. This might be simply be a top to bottom list, with new events taking the topmost slot. The realtime F/Es could be restricted to the user set F/E list, or perhaps more excitingly, ALL F/Es that we have access to. So as soon as we know something has happened on the Sun or in the heliosphere and it has appeared in a catalog, Helioviewer.org displays it. It is envisioned that the UI element will occupy the right hand side of the current browser space. This will give a dynamic aspect to the website, and be scientifically useful (keith/jack).
