Bug Description
This is a request to backport xserver-
Benefits:
* General bugfixes (cleaner pointer handling, fixed EXA support, removal of deprecated includes).
* Better support for the OLPC XO-1, including XO-specific fixes.
* Better support for some legacy Geode hardware.
* RandR support upgraded to version 1.2 features.
Those are desirable features for building a solid Hardy-based distributions for the OLPC XO-1 and for better supporting GX2/CS5535-based Geode platforms.
The Ubuntu source package from Jaunty builds fine as-is using Hardy dependencies.

Actually, can we upgrade this request to backport 2.11.3-1 instead? It's strictly a bugfix maintenance release also.
