Bug Description

The current version of KMess in Ubuntu Hardy is version 1.5
KMess 1.5.1 were released the 9th of April

Could the new version be backported into Hardy as it contains some bugfixes, optimizations and (most important) some new imporvements!

Backports only correspond to transfering a package from the dev distribution to the stable. As the next release is not even announced, this bug will need to be reopened if the package hits the repo one day.

Nevertheless, I think you should file a bug in KMess to ask the team responsible of this package if a new release in Ubuntu is to come anytime soon.

No. Incomplete and no action can be taken until KMess is updated in Intrepid.
