gwibber needs a man page

Bug Description

Gwibber seems to be lacking a man page. Moreover, it also doesn't accept a "--help" parameter on the command-line, so it seems almost impossible to find help on CLI syntax.

I realized this when I was hoping to find a switch to start minimized (to launch at startup), but couldn't find anything. This is another issue entirely, but the more important thing is having user documentation-- especially a man page.

This bug is about the man page.

I have opened a new bug regarding the option to start Gwibber minimized as bug 325051

Attached is a first draft man page.

To view it formatted correctly do:

nroff -man gwibber.1

Comments/Suggestions welcome.

If someone who is familiar with packaging/etc could tell me where this file is supposed to go, that'd be great.

Available for packagers in lp:gwibber

Changed in gwibber:
status: In Progress → Fix Released

in lp:gwibber/1.0 now too.
