Bug Description

Fact: Gwibber is awesome! (Thanks Ryan and team).
Fact: There are many people using Ubuntu daily who still don't understand what Gwibber is, why it's useful (or important), and how to use it to "tame" their social networks.

This is a call out to all community members who wish to help with a Gwibber User Guide. The first draft is written and Ubuntu Vancouver LoCo will release it shortly. Please click "this bug affects me" to stay abreast of this effort. And, if you wish to help, please leave a note in the comments.

Excellent, we have really needed this, i'll look forward to the release. What format is it in? It would be great to get it in mallard so we can ship it with gwibber.

Happy New Year Simon,

The doc is pretty much finished and will be released this week for review.
Its in an pdf/odt format. I'm not a programmer and I think they are thinking
about getting into Mallard.

The user guide for 2.32 is available at http://gwibber.com/docs/user-guide/2.32/master_social_networking_with_gwibber.pdf

We need that updated to 3.4 and converted to mallard so it can be integrated in gwibber and translated.

I've taken the guide for 2.32 and cnverted it to Mallard. I've also updated it for 3.4 (not sure if I've missed any topics or features). The attached tar.bz file contain the entire manual.

To view it, download the attachment, unpack it and run "yelp /path/to/folder/gwibber-help". This will load the index page and you can navigate through the rest of the pages from there.
