Bug Description

Binary package hint: gwibber

Use case:-

I want to mention someone in a tweet, but I don't want to direct my tweet at them. e.g. "hey @sabdfl have you seen this funny picture of @sil?"

Gwibber shows real names and not their twitter ID so I need to hover over their avatar to discover the ID so I can mention it.

I discover that hovering over peoples avatars is unreliable. See attached screencast.

Sorry for ask Alan but what do you expect that gwibber do about it? because is not enough clear to us to define if is a requirement or a issue. Thanks

My expectation is that I should be able to put the mouse over any avatar and discover the username. I don't recall any other applications where this issue happens, but it does in gwibber. I don't know where the issue lies but as it only happens for me in gwibber, I filed a bug against it.

Alan, have you checked if this behaviour is still occurring in latest release 2.32.2 included under Ubuntu Maverick? Thanks
