Password saving should be optional

Bug Description

I've noticed that Gwibber in Karmic Alpha 3 has Bug #400120, which is a security flaw.

But regardless if this bug existed or not, lots of people including me would be more confortable if saving the password was an optional feature like it happens with Evolution and Pidgin. If it's disabled, then the user has to type the password when the program first starts.

Did someone even read this report? Currently Empathy has the same problem (Bug #118800), but I don't think this is expected design since Evolution, Pidgin and Firefox, for example, all make password saving optional.

I strongly agree with TonyKnott. Ask password for session is more interesting for work (or brothers) computer and some other cases.

The Gwibber may also persist the password for all services in a encrypted file and we will only need the Gwibber password. ;-)
